Welcome to NouvelleHEALTH's E-Zine

Welcome to a new year and the January addition of the NouvelleHEALTH E-Zine, the electronic monthly newsletter filled with company information and announcements as well as tips to help you in your day-to-day business.

The (very) much anticipated web site has been launched! We think it has better navigation, a cleaner more streamlined look and will be a great representation of Nouvelle, its Distributors and fine products.

There are some features we haven’t turned on yet, so be on the look out for new and exciting additions in the future.

Preferred Customer Qualification Correction

Last month we reported that customers contact Nouvelle’s Customer Service to sign up as a preferred customer. This was incorrect. The policy should have read that customers are qualified for preferred customer status by their Distributor. The Distributor calls Customer Service (702-617-7885), gives us the name of the qualifying customer and we initiate the change as soon as possible. Please note that a customer is still required to enrol and maintain an auto-ship program for a minimum of $50 to remain qualified as a preferred customer.

Up-line Distributor’s Receive Compensation for Online Retail Sales!

The compensation plan currently outlines that the selling Distributor of online retail sales (that is sales through the Distributor’s replicated website), receives 20% of that retail sale’s volume. Effective immediately, online retail sales will plug into a compensation model similar to the personal volume compensation plan where Distributors up-line of the online retail sale will receive compensation as well.

The selling Distributor will still receive 20% of the retail sales volume. The sale then plugs into that Distributor’s Personal Volume at an adjusted volume of 71% of retail. From that amount, up-line commissions start at 9% for the Distributor above, 8% for the next, then 7%, 6%, 2%, 2% and 1%. See the breakdown below for a sample retail sale of $100.

On a $100 sale:
The sponsoring Distributor receives:
20% of $100 $20
The $100 sale is adjusted in Personal Volume to $71:
Up-line Distributor receives:
9% of $71 $6.39
Next up-line Distributor receives:
8% of $71 $5.68
Next up-line Distributor receives:
7% of $71 $4.97
Next up-line Distributor receives:
6% of $71 $4.26
Next up-line Distributor receives:
2% of $71 $1.42
Next up-line Distributor receives:
2% of $71 $1.42
Next up-line Distributor receives:
1% of $71 $0.71

This makes Nouvelle’s Distributor compensation plan truly unique and extremely competitive in the MLM business market. We thought it was the right thing to do and hope to make a lot of healthy, wealthy and happy people out of it!

2008 … A brand new year! The beginning of a new year can be an exciting time for those of us who are looking for a new start or a new opportunity. The new year can also be a cathartic for those of us who are looking to clear out the accumulated detritus of years past.

So whether this year brings to you the chance at a fresh start or the opportunity to “get things right”, our hope for you in this brand new year is that it will be your best year ever…one that provides you the opportunity for success as you have never experienced it before!

Training and Development: January is the Time for New Beginnings

Every December 31st, the slate gets wiped clean and as of January 1st, you get to "Reboot your life!" It is time to set your intentions, express your wishes and formulate your goals for 2008. The question is: What do you really want? Perhaps you want more balance. Perhaps you want to feel more in charge of your life. Maybe you want to breakthrough in one specific area that previously was stuck. You might want to increase your financial scope, or empower yourself to feel more powerful than ever before. Maybe, just maybe, you want to become a partner to your body and work as a team to have health, fitness, and leanness.

As you formulate your goals, find a quiet place with no distractions, where you can focus and allow your imagination to flow freely. Remove all of the reasons, excuses, rationalizations, and justifications you have for being where you are. Allow yourself to take a helicopter view of your life and see what you ideally would like to have manifest for yourself. When you hear a "Yeah-but" just let it go and don't let it take over and crush your precious dreams.

Ask yourself what you want in your home, with your relationships with family and friends, with your job, career, and finances, and most importantly, with your health. Encourage yourself to reach for your dreams and make goals that are realistic and yet stretch you a bit. January is the time for new beginnings, and this is your moment to imagine what you want to manifest in this year. Listen to the whispers of your spirit. Ground your desires in writing. Trust yourself to grow yourself into who you want to become. This is a moment and it will soon blur into the past. Seize it, and capture your wishes for 2008. Remember, as Rule number 8 states in If Life is a Game, These are the Rules, what you make of your life is up to you! Make every moment count and have a magically successful year!

With the launch of the new website, we’re really calling out to everyone to submit a testimonial about a Nouvelle product. Testimonials are critical tools in reaching a skeptical customer, particularly for internet sales. Testimonials put a face to an experience and a story for a product in a way that no amount of advertising can do. The Company – Looking Forward to 2008

2007 has been an excellent year for NouvelleHEALTH, Inc. Many significant goals and other milestone events were achieved during 2007. These include:

  • Introduction of PRiME into the NouvelleHEALTH product line…Dr. Griffith has un-locked the key to weight management success.
  • Addition of staff and management personnel to the NouvelleHEALTH team.
    In 2006 our staff was so small that we depended on Dr. Griffith for many of the day-to-day operations of the company. In 2007 Christi Cservenyak joined us for Customer Relations. Also, Dr. Cherie Carter-Scott is now part of the management team focusing on Distributor Training. We will soon be adding other personnel including a Distributor Relations manager plus other staff. Christi will continue to improve our order processing functions and Dr. Cherie is in the process of developing some new and exciting training for the company. I believe that Dr. Cherie will have a very significant impact on the company during 2008 and on into the future.
  • We have re-located to new office space. This re-location gives us much more functionality as a company and the ability to grow and manage the company better.
  • Under the skillful management of Jeff Griffith the NouvelleHEALTH web site was re-modeled. The new and improved web site was introduced at the end of December. Jeff has been a valuable asset for the company, improving our image, working on communications, and assisting with many other management functions.
  • Jeff created and implemented distribution of the E-Zine in the fall of 2007.
These are just five of the many great things that happened for NouvelleHEALTH during 2007. The most significant progress made was the progress and success of our Distributors. We have been witness to many success stories. It is really exciting to see individuals succeed in building their individual business and empowering themselves with personal success.

I have really enjoyed the opportunity working with Dr. Griffith, Jeff, and Dr. Cherie in 2007 as part of the management team of NouvelleHEALTH. It has been special to be able to spend time with them and listen to their views and philosophies. I have been very impressed with their integrity as individuals and their personal dedication to the success of NouvelleHEALTH, Inc. and most importantly their commitment to the success and empowerment of each of you as Distributors and to the staff and management personnel of NouvelleHEALTH. It is very important to Dr. Griffith and all of us in management that each of you are successful. One very important goal and function of NouvelleHEALTH is to provide the opportunity for individuals to be empowered, to establish and achieve goals, and to be a tool that assists each NouvelleHEALTH team member to be successful in life financially and personally.

May 2008 be a great year for each and every person that reads this E-Zine. Our goals and forecasts for 2008 predict a very successful year. We expect our sales to be at least three times what they were in 2007. That is an extremely aggressive forecast for most companies, however, for NouvelleHEALTH, Inc. it is very realistic and possibly an even conservative forecast. These are exciting times. I feel very fortunate to be part of this opportunity and have great confidence in the potential of NouvelleHEALTH. I know that it is the success of the individuals such as each of you that makes the company successful.

PRiME Trial Size and V-Cal Labels Enhanced

Following up on PRiME’s label enhancement, PRiME Trial Size received the same changes to help advertise our cGMP and CITES certifications, Alkemists testing and the standardization of P57 to 0.2%.

Additionally we gave V-Cal a face-lift. The label is virtually the same, but we removed some excess wording from the front to give it a cleaner look.

Be on the look out for both of these new looks in the next week.

Doc Talk: How Weight Loss Works

In order for weight loss to happen, fat must be physically removed from its storage place…the fat cell. Every weight management program that actually works does so ultimately by increasing the amount of the transport chemical that shuttles fat out of the fat cell.
Whether we choose diet, exercise, or PRiME…all are able to accomplish weight loss by this same mechanism. Which of these you choose is based on personal preference and ultimately on how much you are willing to suffer to reach your goal.

Diet:
Diet is by far the best way to lose weight. Decreasing calorie intake sends a very strong signal to the fat cell to transport fat out so that it can be used to replace the energy that is not being taken in as food. Unfortunately, by dieting we also set up a cascade of signals--topping the list is hunger and food craving--from a variety of tissues and organs that work against us being able to continue on our diet. The longer we diet the greater these signals become until eventually for most of us the pain of not eating simply overwhelms our mental fortitude causing failure and sometimes overeating. We just become unable to cope with constant hunger, physical weakness, low blood sugar, low energy levels, and decreased mental function.

Exercise:
Exercise can be a good way to maintain weight loss once it has occurred, but can be a difficult way to lose weight. Exercise does increase the rate of calorie burn, but as all who have tried it know, it can take a lot of exercise to get rid of the effects of a donut. Exercise is without question good for your health. We should all exercise every day. But exercise can be a lot of pain for very little gain at least as it relates to losing weight.

PRiME:
Reducing your food intake or dieting is what you must do if you are realistic about losing weight. PRiME is the tool that can make your diet work without all the pain of dieting. PRiME does this by making the appetite regulating part of the brain unaware that you are actually on a diet. It accomplishes this by stimulating the brain chemicals that signal fullness. A “full” brain then never sends the messages to the rest of the body that ultimately generate the constant and/or excessive hunger, food cravings, muscle weakness, low blood sugar, and low energy levels that are typically associated with dieting. And weight loss happens! Adding or maintaining your exercise regiment and you’ll see that target weight’s fast approach.
